There are a lot of terrible things going on in this world…So many people are falling apart, losing jobs and money, business are closing down…We’re failing…
So why are some people trying to tear apart even in the little things?
Anyone interested in makeup has seen and/or heard of those "bad" makeup groups on MySpace and Live Journal and many other places…Can I just just say, how sad is this? With all of the horrible things we have happening, this is what some people devote their time to?
Is your life so sad and pathetic that you actually go in search of makeup you find subpar and post it for ridicule? Does it make you feel better? Does it bring you up?
I’ve only ever found myself posted once in one of these groups for a photo even I didn’t care for (though by the way it’s my second highest rated on Flickr) so please don’t assume this is a sudden grudge on my part. I’ve been seeing these groups for years now but they’ve seem to gotten worse.
They’re filled with ignorant, talentless, whiny bitch, 16-year-old girls and boys and the occasional 30+ that behaves more immaturely than most 10-year-olds.
Most of the photos you’re attempting to destroy are rather brilliant too. They’re filled with color and glitter and creativity and you have zero of that yourself.
To the posters out there, what is your life lacking that you have to do this? Did someone not hold you enough? Whatever you’re fucking reason, you’re proving what a huge loser you are.
I know some of you are here on Flickr, please don’t think you’re so brilliant hiding behind an icon that anyone with a single firing synapse can’t figure out who you are on Live Journal posting away photos that are copy-written. You’re not nearly as slick and clever as you think you are, you’re just coward. Of course feel free to comment and explain why you’re such a sniveling little bastard with nothing better to do.
So do me a favor, if you’re in one of these wretched little groups and have for whatever reason added me as a contact, feel free to delete me, block me, whatever floats your proverbial boat.
I know what some of you’ll so "Oh if you don’t want it made fun of don’t post it". Yeah, that’s a mature response. How about you show of some of those "skills" you claim you have? Or how about you tell the person you’re bashing what you think of them TO THEIR FACE. Of course you won’t though because you don’t have skills, creativity, or the guts to do more than cackle behind an icon that most of the time, isn’t even of you.
I’m aware this might cause backlash. That suddenly my photos might start showing up in these nasty groups, and I’ll tell you right now, I don’t give a damn.
I’m 27 years old, I do makeup for ME. Because I like it. I’m not here for you. I’m not here to be ridiculed either but if you feel that’s what you want to do, if you want to waste your time on petty and ridiculous things, go for it. I just hope you get a life.
